Kediri, KLIKMU.CO – Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (LKSA) Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah (PAM) Kenjeran, Jalan Tambak Wedi Baru No 77 Surabaya, berkunjung ke rumah wali santri yang berada di Kota Kediri dan Nganjuk, Senin (20/2/2023).
Saat ini terdata sekitar 29 santri putra dan putri yang tinggal di asrama PAM Kenjeran. Sebagian santri memang ada yang berasal dari luar kota. Sekitar 6 santri yang berasal dari kota Kediri dan Nganjuk yang akan dikunjungi.
Selain tujuannya untuk silaturahmi, PAM Kenjeran juga ingin mengetahui informasi mengenai kehidupan sehari-hari para wali santri ini seperti apa. Di antara wali santri yang dikunjungi memang banyak dari mereka yang mata pencahariannya mencari nafkah menjadi buruh tani panggilan yang pendapatannya tidak menentu. Apalagi saat ini peralatan pertanian sudah begitu canggih sehingga terasa sulit menjadi buruh tani.
Saat dikunjungi, wali santri terlihat begitu bahagia karena kedatangan pengurus PAM Kenjeran itu juga dimanfaatkan oleh wali santri untuk menanyakan kabar mengenai santri putra dan putri yang tinggal di asrama PAM Kenjeran.
Kepada kontributor KLIKMU.CO, Kepala PAM Kenjeran Ustadz M. Wasyib Tirtanang SH MPd menjelaskan, alhamdulillah hari ini kita bisa berkunjung ke rumah wali santri yang dimulai dari kota terjauh, yaitu Nganjuk dan Kediri. “Insya Allah ke depan kita juga akan melanjutkan ke rumah santri-santri yang berada di Gresik, Sidoarjo, dan kota lainnya,” paparnya.
Sebelumnya, humas PAM Kenjeran melakukan komunikasi terlebih dahulu sebelum menuju rumah wali santri. Pesannya sederhana, tidak usah repot-repot menyiapkan dan menyambut.
“Tujuan kita datang yang pertama yaitu kita ingin mengetahui lebih jauh terkait dengan wali santri dan juga mengenai anak asuh kami. Bagaimana latar belakangnya anak-anak kami. Karena kami juga mempunyai keinginan anak-anak ini bisa menjadi anak yang lebih baik setelah lulus nanti dan pastinya ada tingkatan yang lebih baik dari kedua orang tuanya,” paparnya.
Selain itu, dengan silaturahmi ini mereka juga merasa senang karena bisa mengetahui situasi dan kondisi. Maka dari itu, mereka mengetahui kondisinya. “Tidak hanya saya sebagai saksinya. Tetapi ada sebagian kepala urusan yang ikut. Terutama ini juga menjadi sebuah penilaian khusus,” katanya.
“Alhamdulillah baru saja panti kita ini mendapatkan akreditasi A. Itu artinya panti kita akan dibuat percontohan untuk panti-panti yang lainnya. Semoga Allah selalu memberikan kesehatan dan kebaikan bagi kita semuanya,” ucap ustadz Wasyib yang juga sebagai ketua pemuda Muhammadiyah Kenjeran Surabaya.
Sementara itu, wali santri dari Kota Kediri desa Bamban Parang Ibu Suniasih wali santri dari Irma Lutfiatus Sholihah menjelaskan, pihaknya merasa senang bisa dikunjungi para pengurus PAM Kenjeran hari ini. “Seperti ini keseharian dan kehidupan kami. Kami berharap anak kami bisa menjadi lebih baik dan bisa melanjutkan ke perkuliahan supaya bisa hidup lebih baik lagi,” ujarnya.
“Alhamdulillah kami juga mendengarkan bahwasannya anak kami mendaptkan prestasi yang membanggakan di sekolah. Semoga anak kami bisa mengharumkan panti dan juga diri saya sendiri,” pungkas Sunarsih. (Nashiiruddin/AS)
